What Makes Autumn Autumn?

As of this weekend, the season has officially changed on the calendar - but what makes Autumn feel like Autumn to you, and why? The FFBE question of the week...

There is so much... The crisp nights and balmy days, gray skies and drizzle, the first scraping of the windshield, leaves changing colors and smell of the earth going to sleep, back to school and the smell of the classroom... But probably the biggest indicator for me that the season is upon us is FOOTBALL! We love football season. Especially Monday Night Football. We have a tradition in our home: Monday is football and finger food and no dishes! It began as simple, just get it and eat it fare. But recently we have begun to theme our football food to the regional foods of the teams who are playing. For instance, if Chicago is playing, it's deep dish pizza. If the Cowboys are playing, it's barbecue. When Philly is playing, we make Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches. The Bengals, Cincinnati Chili. All fun, all good! Yep, football is absolutely the proof-positive sign that Fall is upon us.
